Crendoc, you said last night that as resto I should ideally have 52 talent points in resto tree, but I'm not 100% sure where to put them all. Have made a suggestion here. Could you have a look at that and give some feedback on anything you would change, pls? Was kind of in a hurry when i respecced last night so would want to do it properly ![]() Cheers |

Thanks for that. I think I'll just try full resto for a while. I've read some guides that recommends that as long as I'm being resto in the first place. I'll leave out 2 talents they say is not neccessary, one is Furore (ofc ![]() Will respecc now, but can link the specc I'm planning here: Resto Nop ![]() |

I have less points in resto then you have right now. Cause I haven't raided for quite a while and want to be able to quest too but how or where you put your talentpoints is actually quite dependant on how you play. I have put my talentpoints according to what I use. I could strip my balance tree with a few points but I'll let it stay as it is for now. But actually I wouldn't put all points in a resto tree cause there isn't anything good to come out of wasting points where they ain't in use. It's a matter of balancing it all so that it works for you. Plus healing gear is good. It will need spirit and mana reg. Int is good for mana pool. And so on So it's actually a way to get your gear better and try to balance it as I see it. And what suits. I have to get myself better gear aswell. Hope that will remedy itself in the future. And maybe move around a few talentpoints. *T |

After I've been full resto for a while now I think I'm getting the hang of even doing decent grinding and daily quests etc. Since I've been feral most of my 'life' I wasn't really used to being a caster and use all spells to it's potential in the start, but now I have pretty good control even against 3 mobs at a time (I know that's a piece of cake for most classes but we resto druids are pretty fragile ![]() Crowd control like Entangling roots, Hibernate and Cyclone have proven very efficient, and Barkskin is so useful for not getting spells interrupted. I'm also using some DPS gear when I solo, and I'm using an addon called 'Outfitter' to automatically change gear according to what role I play. Can highly recommend Outfitter. In addition to being able to 'program' you own gear sets it also changes gear automatically when shapeshifting, riding, fishing, stealthing for rogues (handy to auto-equip dagger for Ambush when stealthed, and sword get equipped automatically as soon as you go out of stealth), and also for warrior stances etc. |
