It took me almost a year, but last night I finally built my cash reserves up to 5200g again, and I brought my alt his epic flyer.
Now he can actually go to places without me needing a long book to read mid-flight, I'm going to start playing him again for a bit of fun.

I've tried and never really was very good at Shadow Spec, but want him to be able to do some DPS so I've respecced him to Smite spec.

If you don't know what Smite spec is, then it's kind of a weird merge of Discipline and Holy. Smite spec players can still be healers, yet can also do burst DPS with Holy spells. They don't quite have the DPS of a Shadow Priest and don't quite have the healing power of a Holy Priest, but are more flexible.

I'm not going to pretend Smite spec is good for raids with 25 people, but then I'm not going to pretend Mira is anywhere near ready for 25 people raids anyway. But it's a lot of fun solo and in instances, and owns when grinding ^_^;;

No comments from anyone?

I'm still getting used to this new spec. It's great for grinding (which is helpful right now ^_^;;) and decent for DPS, but seems to have problems with sustainability during longer fights.

I could always give in and just spec shadow, but I'm terrible at that and I'm happier with Smite...
