Just a call to all rogues, or those who browse the site at least... Lets share some info, as i'm sure i can learn something off some of you, and who knows maybe share a little (NO gnome refs please ^^) wisdom too. Builds, essential quest rewards, items worth re-running instances for and maybe some "i just learnt a costly lesson in a raid/group that may help". anything that may help your fellow shneakers. First off from me, prob a noob-ish mistake.... but learnt none the less. I didn't know that using sprint whilst in stealth seems to have a small agro radius.... I was issuing a textbook sap on the 6 strong groups in seth halls, the tank pulled as i was retreating so i thought use sprint to get in on the fight sooner rather than later. I was still stealthed and all mobs were en-route to the tank, but as i got alongside them they turned their agro to me. No stealth detecters or hounds around? a quick vanish and minor pant filling and it was all safe. But i'd never experienced this before (not easy to get into that situation i suppose), someone may have an answer, or it may be a incident worth remebering for those harder hitting and all round less forgiving environments we're headed for. C'mon rogues lets rise up together and errr hide ![]() |

This is my build http://eu.wowarmory.com/character-talents.xml?r=Bronzebeard&n=Darkmighty I think the points spend in combat are a must for a PVE rogue as well as the points spent in Malice. All points I've spent in Subtlety are optional. I just like the improved stealthed speed, thats why I've chosen them. ![]() |

Thanks for tip on that build. My rogue is in the guild now (Psylo), and I've focused on subtlety mainly. I have combat up to Riposte though. Love that.. ![]() But I've heard from others too that combat is good for pve so will probably do a little respecc... |

This is because Sprint counts as a "Finishing move" (yes it sounds wierd but its true) and when you use it, it counts you for attacking the mobs with a really low threat rate, but the threat is still there... Now to me =P I'm new so I just thought I would introduce my self here on the rogue forums =P With the talent talking I would just want to share my specc: http://eu.wowarmory.com/character-talents.xml?r=Bronzebeard&n=Laucian Think this is the classical sword rogue specc, and as you see I'm combat swords. Really nothing more to say atm =P Thanks for the inv and I hope you guys will be enjoying playing with me! Cheers Laucian |
