Here some macro's that are either handly or save a lot of UI space

/cast [target=focus,exists,harm] Polymorph; Polymorph

- If you just click this. It will sheep your target.. just like the normal sheep Skill

the polymorf marco makes sure you dont need to target the sheep. who's running trough 24 of you mates.. or trough a lot of mobs (so hes hard to target). so if you cant get him targeted. people die

by useing this macro. you hold shift.. run in sheep range.. and press polymorf.
it saves lifes

the one your talking about of being lazy is the trinket one prob.
actualy i like the fact that i can activate 2 skills(icy, combusion), and 1 trinket. by 1 click in between 2 firebals..

so the time i loose = 0.01 when im starting to nuke.

if you would click those 3 things manualy you would loose at least 4/5 secs of nuking..
wich is 10kdmg.

next to that.. all macros with the conjured thingys save you a lot of UI space
instead of 8 UI spaces. it only needs 3 UI slots.
so it saves you 5 UI slots

next to that.. the buffing in pvp macros.. yes it is for when your a little lazy however.

you get 10 secs of clearcasting after ressing..
with global cooldown etc. you can get 4 buffs up for free
so for frost mages that will be
arcane int, Frost armor, Ice armor, dempen magic
when you do that by clicking.. you gonne fail a lot of times.. or you need to click like an idiot.

instead.. i just spam the macro while running forward...

this puts up all 4 buffs with a 0 mana cost.. and then i mount up. and didn't loose much time. AND im always fully buffed in pvp

so its pretty nice actualy

EQ.

Not sure whether I'm inputing the poly macro incorrectly, but once I have another mob targeted I can't see whether I'm in range of the sheep, which given that my distance calculation ability is lousy, is a little bit of a pain :)

It also doesn't seem to work if I press the keyboard key that its bound to, rather than clicking on it with the mouse. Again I may have entered it incorrectly.

The other macro I've tended to use, focuses the sheep and allows for you to retarget and sheep quickly although requires two key presses, and then key to target last target. So three key presses to one.. advantage however is that you can always quickly check on whether your target has broken early when its hidden behind mobs, and gives you whether you're in range. I'll keep playing around with both macros - haven't decided which I like best yet.

Another good addon if people don't have it is arcanum, which again saves on lots of UI button space by providing a little circle of buttons for shields, buffs, portals, water/food, mounts, gems and professions, plus bindable button for whatever you want. Or sheepwatch which gives you a nice count down bar - on my UI once you've selected another mob you can no longer see the sheep timer so I like sheepwatch. Very similar to nature castbar, but takes much less memory.

Decursive is another excellent addon - means you can very quickly decurse with one click without any hastle of working out who is cursed or selecting people.

Just would like to add that the Polymorph Macro is a must for 25 man raids. I actually use it Soloing or Grouping.

Also wanted to add that if you are interested in some other Macros do a search in www.wowwiki.com for Mage Macros and click on the first link. They have some Variations of the Polymorph and various other Macros that are very useful..
