Hey guys,
many hardcore raiders begin to switch to leatherworking only for drums of battle, even mages, warlock, who cant benefit from it,just to have it.Drums of battle increase the raid performance alot, well depending on how many leatherworkes there are ofc.
I have 2 questions:
first is how many leatherworkers raid all the time?
and if they use drums of battle when they can?
Personally i will come back in max 2 weeks and will remove my enchanting and learn leatherworking on its place just for drums of battle, its because 80 haste rating for all not only increase the DPS of the raid, but also help the healers. So that is my idea,if you havent though about Drums of Battle. So my idea is that at least 5 leatherworkes will be in the raid,so every group has at least one and using every 2 min drums of battle for 30 sec will be great and ofc having even more then 5 will be awasame.Pls officers and raiders think about it,if you didnt already ofc

Also mages pls consider 2 specs=2/47/11 or 0/40/21.Both spec are better then the traditional fire specs with only one problem:more mana intense. But well using consumables and raid buffed i dont think mana will be problem,at least i noticed that with 3 mana gems and 3 mana pot in fight mana is no problem, thats why the new spec is much more viable and doing more dmg :D.I use atm 4/47/11 and i am happy with it and will switch most likely when i return to 0/40/21,or will just stay with it.

My shammy is a leatherworker, if I ever get her raiding.
On mage specs Vlad, jury still seems to be out on the 2/47/11 icy veins spec looking around the forums. Seems to be equally good as the standard fire raiding spec, if you have a reasonable amount of intellect. I have tried it raiding, and didn't notice a huge different to my dps and no margin for error in mana gem/pot rotation, although I'm open to persuasion! :)

The elemental spec doesn't seem to get a thumbs up from the forums, and to be honest having raided as elemental when I first started, I wouldn't recommend it, unless you're maybe doing alar.
