I had a little go with a pally on the Beta the other day, made a semi OK Ret spec and hit the dummies for a bit. Holy power is a self buff that stacks to 3 you get spells/attacks that create holy power such as crusader strike or(guessing) holy light and you have a finisher type move that is more powerful the more holy power you have, not unlike rogues and combo points. It seems quite easy to keep track of, though i recon you will need power auras to keep track of it or you will be looking at you unit frames all day. What i was doing was using judgement and crusader strike to build holy power and then using a holy power dump, all specs get a heal but the one i was using was an attack ment for rets, maybe prots but im betting they have better things to use. What i kept thinking when playing it was this is very much like the combo point system, it has changed ret for the better i think, though its still early days. I can post a SS of the holy power UI bit Blizz has put in if you wish. - Phukit |

I've been trying to keep up with the Pally news in Cataclysm. I'm getting more and more tempted to try playing my Pally properly now. There's no specific change that I'm looking forward to exactly... I'm just excited that Bliz is putting a bit of effort into the class that I think might be my main next expansion. |
