Post subject:  Pre-Naxx Gear for Frostfire Mages
I have worked around a few sets of Pre-Naxx gear for FrostFire mages. The thing about sets is that changing one piece will make other gear more suitable. This is why the following set is not THE BEST set, but rather the one I would get before going to Naxx.

Head: Hat of Wintry Doom
- Tailoring
- Meta Gem: 21 Critical Strike Rating / 3% Increased Critical Strike Damage
- Red Gem: 19 Spell Power
- Head Enchant: Kirin Tor Revered Enchant

Neck: Titanium Spellshock Necklace
- Jewelcrafting
- Red Gem: 19 Spell Power

Shoulders: Dark Runic Mantle
- BoE Halls of Stone Zone Drop
- Red Gem: 19 Spell Power
- Shoulder Enchant: Lesser / Greater Inscription of the Storm (Sons Of Hodir Reputation Reward) or Inscription-Only Enchant

Back: Deathchill Cloak
- Tailoring
* You need to have "The Loremaster of Northrend" Achivement in order to get the recipe.
- Enchant: 15/23 Haste (I suggest getting the 23 haste on this one because you won't be changing it any time soon as it is one of the best in the game)

Chest: Ebonweave Robe
- Tailoring
- Enchant: 8/10 All Stats
* I wouldn't recommend getting 10 Stats as it's expensive and you will probably switch this item soon.
* The reason why I don't suggest the 10man Tier 7 Chest is because you need Hit Rating and it's more productive to be able to put out good damage while getting those 80 badges - same story with the gloves.

Wrists: Azure Cloth Bindings
- Drops from Cyganosa in Heroic Violet Hold
- Enchant: 30 Spell Power

Gloves: Ebonweave Gloves
- Tailoring
- Enchant: 28 Spell Power

Waist: Plush Sash of Guzbah
- 40 Emblems of Heroism
- Red Socket: 19 Spell Power
- Eternal Belt Buckle: 9 Spell Power / 12 Stamina
* The reason for having this gem is for the meta gem.

Legs: Woven Bracae Leggings
- Drops from Loken in Heroic Halls of Lightning
- Sapphire Spellthread (50 Spell Power/30 Stamina)

Feet: Sandals of Crimson Fury
- Wyrmrest Accord Reputation Reward (Exalted)
- Blue Socket: 9 Spell Power / 12 Stamina
- Enchant: Icewalker

Ring: Band of Guile or Annhylde's Ring
- The first ring drops from Mal'Ganis in the Culling of Stratholme
- The second rung drops from Ingvar the Plunderer in Utgarde Keep

Ring: Titanium Spellshock Ring
- Jewelcrafting
- Red Socket: 19 Spell Power

Trinket: Forge Ember
- Drops from Sjonnir The Ironshaper in Heroic Halls of Stone

Trinket: Sundial of the Exiled
- 40 Emblems of Heroism

Wand: Rod of the Fallen Monarch
- Drops from Anub'arak in Heroic Azjol-Nerub

Off-Hand: Ward of the Violet Citadel
- 25 Emblems of Heroism

Main-Hand: Flameheart Spell Scalpel
- Kirin Tor Reputation Reward (Revered)
- Enchant: 50/63 Spell Power

<sigh> Whilst I think Billy has done a great job of presenting this information here clearly and consisely, I must admit to feeling a bit irritated that people don't read earlier posts.

Lucuisesox - if you look down the list, you will see that I had previously posted on this and linked to a list of gear. Indeed, I have done several other posts. I don't have much time at the moment to find information out and I'm grateful to Billy for the immense amount of work he's done keeping things up to date - however its very frustrating and a waste of my time if people don't bother to use this forum fully. I don't gather this stuff together for my own amusement....

I hope I haven't put noses out of joint, it wasn't my intention. I am like a sponge at the moment, the whole raiding thing is a step up for me. Anything from anywhere,...
