I think the lack of posts will answer this question, but. Are there any PvP'ers in the guild?

My PvP career has recently started (and loving it), Just wanted to know if anyone's into their arena's or even co-ordinated BG's....

Quite a lot of people (me included) are PVPing for their PVP set.

Depending on your character, getting some of the PVP set can be really helpful. It's on par with most of the gear you get in Karazhan, so debatably you don't have to do this, but going into Kara with good gear makes things a lot easier ^_^

Most likely, you'll need a few random marks from all of the battlegrounds in order to get what you want. So that means that you'll end up having to do Athri Basin, Eye of the Storm (shudder) and Warsong Gulch (double shudder).
If you go into these and lose each time, you can slowly build up the marks you'll need. But it's far better to try and win, and to have a chance of winning (especially in Eye of the Storm and Warsong Gulch) you need to be in a group, purely because of the high level of general ignorance among alliance players.

But if you're after your PVP set, getting the marks is actually the easy bit - most likely you'll get all of the marks long before you get enough honour to buy anything.
This means you'll need to be playing in Alterac Valley.

Alliance Players tend to be lot better at Alterac Valley, plus thanks to all of the objectives, you will no doubt earn a lot of honour whether you actually win or lose.
However you can't do any match ups for Alterac Valley, so your only choice is to solo it, and hope you get a good team of players.
If you meet a guildie in there then it's a bonus ^_^

Yeah, my suggestion is you grind all the honor you need at AV, then just do some of the other places... sure, alliance sucks at them because nobody seems to listen ( sometimes even me ) PvP sets are quite easy to get if you set to it.

I did my last PVP battle when i was level 40 , and i want to start doing some PVP action , any more suggestions for beginners ?

I would love to get some premaid WSG or AB matches going and kick some horde ass.
Sounds way more fun than going in random and gettiing frustrated and cursing and beating on my kb
So lets hear it, whoever is interested, I think we can set at least a night a week for some cool pvp action.

I'm happy to fund/start a 3vs and 2vs, just let me know. I'm currently a BG'er only, not seen the inside of a single arena yet ... but more than happy to participate and eager to learn.

Maybe we could suggest a couple of evenings that can be marked for PvP'ing, obviously without conflicting with raids and instance's. It could be good to know that we may not have the time, or place available, to dedicate to a kara run, but we can log in knowing there will be some like minded guildees willing to PvP (cos I will NOT spam /G chat).

wow its been a while. TBH i'll be looking at getting rasp involved in these soon, tell me does a holy priest work in BG/Arena's? or is it disc/holy mix thats better.
either way squint can come out of his hole and slay some hordie fools some time.
