Hi all.
Been doing some research during the last few days and comparing top players from all over the world.
Managed to get some information regarding retribution and i'd like to it share with you:

Stats you should be aiming for :
Hit rating 262 is needed.
Expertise rating you need 16 + Glyph of Seal of Vengeance = 26 expertise.
Strength ~ 2.2-2.3k
Crit Chance ~ 40-44%
Attack Power ~ 5.6-5.7k
Haste Rating ~ 420 - 450 (16-17%)
All top level players have stats very close to those presented here, so it seems like the best way to do it.

Glyphs:
Major: (Pretty strict)
Glyph of Judgement
Glyph of Seal of Vengeance
Glyph of Consecration

Minor:
Glyph of Sense Undead
Besides that one, you can use whatever you want, it does not affect your DPS, i do however suggest on Glyph of Lay on Hands

Libram
You should use - Libram of Three Truths

Agility gear is good addition for paladins due to high agility to crit chance rating.
One of the items you must get is Ashen Band of Vengeance ring (+agility and not +strength)
It is normal (and many players do) to use 2-4 leather items to get the needed crit rating.

Invest in getting the 4pc T10 set - it gives a very solid dps boost in both trash and boss fights.
Do not pass on 2pc T9 untill you have 4pc T10 gear.
Do not overstack the stats i presented here and do not convert all your gear to agility, use it wisely.
Do not gem for Arm Penetration, it is the least needed stat (after spirit :) )
(Don't take the 264 trinket from ICC25 with arm pen, leave it for the hunters).

Priority of attacks to use in boss fight:
Judgement -> (Hammer of Wrath) -> Crusader Strike -> Divine Storm -> Consecration -> Exorcism.
The rotation is First Come First Served - but pay attention to the priority above.
In multiple mobs fight, Divine Storm gets first priority, but be careful, with Seal Of Command it gives you huge aggro boost :)

Enchants:
Cloak: Major Agility or Haste
Chest: Powerful Stats
Bracers: Greater Assault
Gloves: Crusher
Boots: Greater Assault
Weapon: Berserking
Helm: Arcanum of Torment - Obtained through Revered status with the Ebonhold Knights.
Shoulders: Greater Inscription of the Axe - Obtained through Exalted status with the Sons of Hodir.
Belt: Eternal Belt Buckle - Obtained from a Blacksmith.

Some important notes on improving your DPS:
1) Do not wait for one of the spells to go off CD if you got another one ready, use it!
2) Spam the key of the next power you are going to use 0.2 seconds before it's off cool down and a bit later, to compensate for the possible lag.

If you got any questions or would like to have more info, feel free to ask!
Cheers :)

Thanks Baba for bringing that together and perfect timing!
Just yesterday I bought duel spec talent and made a ret build. I never thought I would so never even looked and ret gear let alone rolled on it. I have 0 gear so gonna try and get some.
One thing is that I read on the EJ forums I think, probly one of the basic ret guides, that crit rating should be aimed for rather than the agi crit, because the Agi doesnt give you spell crit, which is very important. I was under the impression that Str beats all, once hit and exp are covered..
Any thoughts or advice?

You are absolutely right.
Agility stat should be around 300-400 not more than that cause it affects only meele hits which are 15-20% of total dmg.
Most of the crit rating you should get from +crit stat.
Some leather gear is still good for you, especially the ones that have +crit stat on them.

Meele crit should be 40-45%
Spell crit should be around 35%
