I'm just curious. Is there any other destro locks in the guild.

I'm not a regular raider so I don't know but i Truly believe Destro locks have the best dps in the game.

My gear isn't great but i pretty easily knock out 1200-1300 dps on most fights as the 0-21-40 destro sacrifice spec.

And as far as i remember none of our locks get that since sax.

After the new patch more than 1 affliction lock in a raid is a waste imo so i think all other locks should be destro sacrifice. Just for the pure massive dps without having to worry about mana. Give a full epic destro lock a oomkin and and ele shammy and 1500 dps is a minimum

Please bare in mind that we're short on 'locks at the minute.

I've long since decided that I'm not going to force anyone into any spec if they don't want to be.
But we are a little short on locks. Blood Pact, Malediction and Shadow Embrace will benefit the entire raid, whereas demonic sacrifice will only benefit you. There's more to being a lock than just coming first on the DPS list.

Well that's kind of my point. Malediction, Blood Pact and Shadow Embrace can all be taken by one lock.

Then the rest of the locks can focus on outputting massive dps.
Let Affli do the raid buffs, let destro be selfish and rape the lvl ?? bosses

You missed my point. Even with the change in the patch, we still don't have quite enough 'locks for that.

Tried out destro, didnt work. All i do is aggro when i have the succ sacrificed, 8k crit is too much. That means i cant start dps until others have done 10k dmg and i go overaggro damn fast even then. In heroics the build for me is useless cos the mobs are dead when i can start dps. 1.4k +dmg 27% sb crit is wank to handle aggrowise. Went back to demo, thats the only way my gear&stupid head works. Just got the destro bonus, im at 30% crit for sb and took the aggro reduction now and my lovely whacker demon. As seems i can use pet in almost every run, just gotta ask one druid to hot it every now and then asn i dont have the T5 2set bonus yet.

Im sure destro would be good for bosses but for heroics and stuff i feel useless so im demo. And from now on gonna stay that way, might respec abit but u can forget imp buff, not gonna get it from me. Unless tank is crap. And ours arent.

Btw if u put 1 point in imp corruption, the cycle with immolate and corruption go hand in hand -> both of em will wear off same time. Only thing is u cant run and cast it tho usually u dont use corruption for destro anyway. Just a thought.

Btw i do that dps as demo, atleast used to. Affli/destro, no chance. Im too stupid for it i suppose.

If you never bring your Warlock to raids, demonology is actually a good choice - it's a bit better for heroics.

I'm surprised you can't get destruction working though Hin; it needs good gear but I'm pretty sure you had enough for it.

I got the gear, just cant control the aggro. Thats why its no good. No good dps with it as im always overaggro. Hit capped, 1.2k +dmg, 20%crit (25% sb) so its ok. Maybe L2P and it would work better.

Gonna raid more with the bugger anyways, but as demo. I cant top demo builds dps with anything so thats it gonna be. Its more fun anyway.

It did take me a while to sort out the aggro issue, but i never seem to have any problems with over aggroing.

On longer boss fights theres soulshatter to fall back on. Just stay 1 crits threat below the tank and when theres a decent amount of threat built up just shatter and nuke the hell out of whatever it is your killing.

And its not like i don't have aggro reduction talents. When your having aggro issues with salvation on then your gonna be outputting good dps no matter what.

But its a personal play style, hin prefers demo, i prefer destro and we both have our own opinions on em.

Atm I'm trying out a Fel Spec just cos i've got a lot of primals to get and I'm missing destro already. 3k crits just don't seem my play style, i like my 8k crits.

Im sure i could dps with destro if i set my mind on it, just dont wanna. Its loads of fun making a non-raiding build and do awesome with it. And not bad dps either. For farming, i suggest using life drain, not nuke. U'll never go oom (lower lifetap rank or u will go outta life)

Theres actually a way u can do a full nuke spec with fel. ditch insta corruption and put all in devastation. it wont get crits bigger but 5% more crit is a lot. And u get to see the wanker whack his ass out.

like i said on other post.. im gonna be affli and btw im gonna try full affli without Ruin... and btw elle i can do that 1200-1300 dps if dont have to use CoS
