As you know i'm getting my paladin back soon, and as soon as i do, i will aim to collect some more prot gear, so on boss fights such as hydross, and morogrim, i can help the raid by picking up the adds. Also it is a good thing to have someone that can swap between prot and holy for raids, so i am volunteering to do that...

So any help in gathering gear would be welcomed

i have a few pieces of gear, but need to get some more stuff, so any suggestions on what to get please feel free to post
atm i have got:
Nightbanes Chest, Curators Legs, Kara Bracers, Kara Belt, The Sha'tar Shield, erm the kara rep tanking ring, i possibly have some more gear, but i cant remember at the minute.

Gear i need is: Shoulders, Helm, Neck, Gloves, Boots, a ring and 2 trinkets.

I'm thinking of getting the furies deck, for a trink, so if you see any fury cards, for less than 60g, then could you buy them and either send them to my warrior, or hold on to them until i transfer my paladin across. I have 2 of furies atm, so any other cards would be welcomed (I will pay you back as soon as i get my paladin.)

thinking about it i have the helm and the shoulders from the righteous set.
so i need boots, gloves, but i may have the righteous gloves, a ring and 1/2 trinkets.

Go for the trinket that drops in Shadow Labs, 2nd boss I think. Adamantite Figurine if I remember correct. Gives nice defense and avoidence...

And there is a lot of nice tanking gear that you can get from badges!

i think its nice to have a paladin tank.

the untauntebles is also a pain in the ass paladins do a aoe pull and that's already a pain in the ass to get aggro back from it protection paladin imo only good for aoe tanking and that's it not for boss tanking warriors tank stay and keep been the best tanks

or maybe we will do only SSC and Grulls , so Shead cannot go to Karazhan anymore

on bosses we can get upto 1k tps... beat that mr warrior tank. On a gruuls lair fight i saw a prot pally MT him up to grow 12, and died because of the silence and the fact that he had been hit by a shatter too, he also got 1.3k tps on him... Go Lelldorin!

this was in echo when we 19 manned it, hence the stupidly long time it took to down him. 1 day we will beat nihiliums 16 man raid.

oh can i just add, i still need some fury cards, so if anyone spots 1,5,7 for less than 100g can u gimme a shout?

oh and i still need kara wtb t4 gloves and helm for tanking purposes. also wtb t4 shoulders, but they can wait for a while lol.

Pally tanks are awesome on almost all fights, just a few fights that won't work in Kara....
1) Nightbane (because of the fear)
2) Maiden (because of the silence)

P.S. I never tried to tank Prince, not sure about that 1

well maiden we can probs get away with, and NB we can do it with a fearward, prince is a toughie because of his quick attacks and the fact that he can crushing blow me, but atm i need to figure out how to increase my reducing stats by about 4-5% without losing sta. Also i been looking at the gear, and have realised that if i get my t4 shoulders i can probably get away without the t4 gloves, also im working on badgers for gnomer autoblocker and the ring. just need 5 of furies now.... im getting there...

i think i should be ok to tank by saturday with some luck. i can certainly offtank, and on moroes i can probably tank all 3 of his adds at once lol.

while that is true i am still crushable, and prince can crush... so im screwed lol.
(and yes im taking my holy shield into account) need an extra 5% damage avoidance.

ok so i've found that when im raidbuffed im close to being uncrushable, if only gnomeregan auto-blocker wasnt soo shit. waste of badgers imo.

so anyway, got the furies deck, waiting for that damned fair. need a decent trink, well, one thats better than onys blood talisman, and i should be good. i think moroes' trink would be nice...

gear i need now is:
t4 shoulders, gloves off maiden, and thats about it. (not counting the trink.)

suppose a ring would help me too :p.
