Any guesses as to when cataclysm will be released?

I'm starting to suspect mid-november.

My reasoning for this is based on arena seasons - these seem to be times to coincide with major patches. The current arena season has been running for 22 weeks, making it the 3rd longest season yet (23 weeks and 29 weeks being the two longer ones).

From what I have read, it sounds like S3 being 29 weeks long was unpopular, so I suspect that blizzard are likely to end the current season imminently and a new one will start, running for the average length of around 4 months will take us up to mid-november.

Any other guesses?

I'm thinking november too cause it's far enough from Starcraft 2.

I think one or two weeks before christmas if it will be released this year, ohterwise i say mid january 2011.

I'm not sure about that, they deliberately didn't open one of the wings of ICC too close to christmas, as they didn't want half-empty guilds getting annoyed at not doing content, or the need to raid interfering with family life.

I've no idea when they're going to be releasing.

But personally I can't believe that they've left it so long considering when they first announced it. They lifted the lid on it way too early IMO.

mid sept to early oct latest, otherwise your first raids will have to be pushed back (for most players who arent racing to 85) and I dont think they want a repeat of the "WTF BLIZZ IM BORED" we had at the begining of ICC. sicne im under the impression theres more raids per tier they might subdivide these with a week or two at the begnining to give everything a sense of scale.

Although Im not very aware of lore from what i understand we have a ton of people comming together and achieving slightly different things it makes sense these wouldnt happen all at the same time and that more oportunities would open up within relatively small timeframes, this also lends itself to small introductory quests (not real atunements) for each raid similar to what happened with the new heroics.
