This topic is about wether we will keep going with 2 planned karazhans runs and do ZA whenever we have nothing to do.

Suggestion:
i would like to Suggest that we will keep going on a planned karazhan (mostly fryday evening/saterday) and make sure we kill all bosses with that group.

next to that.
i would like to see that instead of going to karazhan with a 2nd group also. to get an Zul'Aman Raid planned every week.

This way we get the Zul'Aman bosses down more often for that nice loot that drops there.
and it will be more fun for our mains.

Next to that. we can do karazhan whenever a raid gets cancelled or when someone wanne go in the midday and has enough people for it. (like yesterdays ZA raid).

so basilcy:
1 Kara Group every week
1 Zul'aman Group
whenever we have time. a 2nd karazhan group. (who doesn't need to make it all the way to prince)

Esp since so we can make better plans for when to go ZA and when it resets. so we can do hex lord and Zul'jin more often (lovely fights btw)

Think a lot of people would like that.

Yep, very good idea i think.
ZA has far better loot than kara and some items are even better than those that drop in SSC.
Also it resets every 3 days if i'm right? So that's good too for badges and loot.
And it's more fun than kara imo =)

I agree but still feel we should se these raids on the planner and let people know about them in advance, so we give members the chance to participate and not get left out.
Atm our schedule is so that we have Fri, Sat, without 25 mans, with Mon and Tues as optional, depending on how well we did during the week. Most Mondays and Tuesdays we can revert to ZA/Kara if there is no 25 man raid, and still use the gc to invite the members out of the ones who are signed.

I'd like to go to ZA, but I can't be online every night, and I never know when it's being run.

I agree it would be better to see the times in the calendar a few days in advance if we're planning a raid.

NOW:
1st Karazhan team: sign up trough Group Calandar
2nd Karazhan team: sign up trough Group Calandar
Zul'Aman team: whenever we got time. no planning

SUGGESTION:

so basicly we will clear zul aman and karazhan every week. instead of clearing karazhan with 2 teams every week.

so we put a ZA raid up on Group calandar every week. and 1 karazhan raid.

i think there still a huge amount of people who need kara or do kara for badge run and za is for the loot mostly

so how ever you can't chance this as we do za and kara mostly when there is no 25 man instance on that day or it got canneled so any way 25 man instance got pioirty so...

so in other words what ever happens you keep haveing more than 20 man who wanna do kara and keep haveing man who wanna do za excaly we get more and more who wanna do za as every one get's better gear here

i mean we even do kara and za in the afternoon and also in the evening it's just depens on the people who are online

we are not doing kara/za whenever we like actualy
maby last weeks because it was messy

our 25 man raiding days are:
Wednesday: Mag/Gruul
Thueday: SSC
Sunday: SSC/Eye

our free days wich we fill with 10 mans normaly are:
Fryday: Karazhan/ZA
Saturday: Karazhan/ZA

our "backup" days are:
Monday: (whatever is still alive)
Thuesday: (whatever is still alive)

i've talked to michael. and im going to plan more ZA runs on Group Calandar.
and im gonne plan them in a way we got 2 raids before it resets.

this does however meen that we might not clear karazhan with 2 groups every week.

so you might miss some badges if you go to ZA instead of the Kara run. bud we can go Kara whenever a 25 man gets cancelled or on monday/thueday.

you know aswell it's not a hardcore guild this is the kind of guild where it's a surprise every day how many people there are online

base on that we make the raids and we got on wensday and thursday and sunday or 25man instance as those day's are the most day's people are online

and when we got not enough we make a 10 man raid mostly it's kara first for the badges and i think alot of people including me still wanna finish kara runs (clear them) for the loot or badges

biggest chance for a za raid will be thuesday and monday

if we go thuesday/monday like we did last couple of weeks. the reset days will be crap all the time. so we can only get hex lord down once every 4 weeks or something. and i dont accept that. so im gonne plan ZA raids on the GC so that we can get at least 2 raids there before it resets. to give us a change to clear it properly.

i think thats crap.
if you want badges so bad.. go do heroics.
or go to that 1 kara raid. (altho i reather have the less geared going there)
and anyway. we can do the 2nd kara raid monday/thueday or when a raid gets canneceled withouth problems.
so you will still have 2 kara clears most of the time.

1 more thing about badges.
im 70 for 4 weeks now. and i cant get ANYTHING from badges.
so there is no need for the WHOLE guild to do karazhan.
im not going karazhan anymore when there is no need anyway.
like i said.. your trying to gear up 2/3 specs.
so your diffrend.. your a badgewhore actualy(no offence). i think 1/2 your ele gear is badge gear.

anyway. i think people like: me(to start with), Michael, tions, quish, yrick, bangalor, tigertom, lionardo, ellegance, shead, and all the outher proper geared guys reather have some better times for the ZA raids so we can get some better loot there. and a way more fun raid i think.
they have grinded karazhan for a year now.

last za raid it took like 1 hour to kill 4 bosses so put another 15 min to that and we got hexlord aswell down
as i said za dont specificly need to be done in the evening it's a very fast raid so it can be done in the afternoon aswell

and i like za aswell bud you know me better than the other guildies than full epic is not good enough for me i wanna inprove my epics with better epics

about me elemental gear yeah 1 third of that gear thats around 5 items are badge gear and i dont regret that
atleast i can say that i wanna progress and take excaly some effort in it trying to do what's nessary to get better dps or better heals for progress

and dowing kara first i'm wrong about becaus it dossand matter on what day it happen so long if it happens ^^

the only raid so far what i barly have seen canceled is gruuls and maggy but if the gc say's progress run suddenly there not more than 8 sign ups you olmost think the wordt progress run is a for bidden word and the word karazhan is like who want a invite for kz ?and you get spammed with whispers

so best is. if we take down 3/4 bosses in 3 hours raid.
and then take whatever is still standing in a 2nd raid.

and it resets every 3 days. bud we cant affort to go ZA 2 times a week. since it will mess up with ever outher raid.

and dont forget.. that afternoon raid monday.. was on a holyday.
normally we dont have 18 people online at 15:00

anyway.. wll plan on groupcalandar. and try to get ZA 2 days after eachother.
and try to keep 2 karazhan teams running.

its really fragile if we can make SSC tommorow. so sign up for it.
if no SSC we can start with our kara runs.
not ZA since za resets fryday morning so no use.

i got bored reading that thread but i can say this: Ellegance (Loot Whore/Character Whore) wont go to ZA unless its with his lock cos he now wants to gear that up, and focus on making that his main. However i will go ZA whenever.

IMO this points out the people who wanna progress, and the people are happy doing farms. I wanna do ZA to get that done and cleared. I dont go for loot, I go for fun, i think EQ does the same thing.

I'd also like to start doing farms on a sunday, and keep the week for progress, however its up to the planners. I'm not a huge farm fan, sure you can say i have all the gear id need from farm instances, however, we could get better gear from progress. And id also say that if we got more people on or got stuff sorted i.e. more resist sets for hydross, and the lock tank sorted we could get on with progress more. I strongly believe we can progress comfortably with the gear that we have so far. So i'd like to see a bigger push to kill morogrim. Then either go for karathresh or leo (t5 legs/hands). Also as a note for raids, can we start invs 30 mins before the start, due to the fact most raids are now starting alot later so instead of the 3 hours which we could get raiding (morogrim) we only get 2:30 hours.

i always invite 30 minutes before we start when possible
