I got a level 70 shaman(Elemental). I would recommend the specc 41-0-20 for pve:) Really nice buffs and stats. I think the shaman should focus on these stats:

(Pve specced)
Spell damage:1
Crit rating:2
Spell haste rating/spell hit rating:3
intellect and mana regen:4
stamina:5
Armor:6

More crits=less mana cost
Spell haste= quicker damage
Hit rating=more damage

Spell penetration is not really needed in Pve-good in pvp..
Block rating- dodge not really needed in pve.

main pioirty is getting your spell hit so you dont miss you need 16% total and get 12% from your talents and totem so you need 4% from your gear witch is not hard to get

second is spell crit how more spell crit you have thes better for you dmg and mana

3th would be the rest of your stats i already notish it's points less to put spell dmg sockts on your gear wile spell critt is better sp basicly your spell dmg will get up with your gear
and rest of the stats is also inttelect and stam ect.... basicly you dont need to focus on that only spell hit and spell crit rest come's from your gear

and this would be a good pve build for elemental tree with you can do also pvp with becaus we elemental shamans need mostly pvp gear becaus of the spell crit

well yeah elemental shaman is much like fire mage, tho fire mage needs much more spell hit,13% from gear. But second stat you most need is spell crit.More crit, more dmg:P and also you return 1/3 of the mana cost and you build high ignite and dmg over time

laven is a hit whore, laven is a hit whore...
But yeah, u get x amount of spell hit from ur tree, and a certain amount from ur totem, think u need 3% from gear, anyway Jeb has pretty decent gear and a good spec so if u wanna check him his armory is:

he has ur 41-0-20 spec too, so yeah i feel you knot what ur talkin about :P
altho if spell crit gives u mana, why not go for crit before damage?
