Post subject:  So how much do looks count for?
So lets hear it, how important is it for you to have good looking gear, besides the qualitiy of an item. I know for the women its all about looks.. :roll: , but lets have a poll and see what we get.

I must say, it holds some weight with me. It wont stop me from upgrading to a significantly better item, but its definately important to me. I have many screenshots to prove it.. :lol:
One quest chain I worked on for what seemed like forever, was to ultimately recieve the most beautiful bow in the game in my opinion, Lohn'goron, Bow of the Torn-heart. About 30 different quests and lots of running around for that, and now its a problem cos I've come across better ranged weapons, but none even close to look as good..
By the way, there is some really nice stuff for others there too.. check it out.

The quality is more important, no good having something that looks good if your going to die all the time cos its rubbish. The exception to that is the hat on my shammy, I'm sure I could have a better one, but that won't look like a wolf head :D

Deffo looks, think of it, whole of ur set is white, then u suddenly get a white or light colour item, just lol x)

If I get an item thats only a little bit better then what I've got I really care about the look. If its much better I don't care at all. For my hat, if I like it I show it, if I don't like it, I hide it.
But that's what I'm a woman for I guess :P (my brother is worse though) :evil:

to be fair, if paladins went off looks i dont think they'd get any t5, because they look like a gay power ranger, still theres nothing wrong with that... Infact thats the only reason that i want my t5 :P. but still, i got loads of gear that looks rubbish, but is awesome. I mean look at the t4 pally helm, it makes you look like a coal miner, but that doesnt stop me wearing it (altho i do turn the helm off :P), and my mace looks shite, but its better than my other maces, so i use it, the best looking mace IMO is the shockweave truncheon, that drops off of Murmer on heroic. but i wouldnt trade in my Shard for it.

having said that ff i got it i will not hesitate to put spell surge on it.
