What makes u a good dps in a Raid? Some people think that its all about the numbers, so they only look at the dps and damage output. And try to reach the first place in the dps meters. Ofc this is only one thing what's important to be a good dps. Here is a is list with things u should know when dpsing in a Raid.

What makes u a good dps?:

1. Aggro: make sure that in every fight u never over aggro the MT! So use and watch your aggro meters. Its a very simple thing, but sadly there are still people that over aggro the MT on a regular basis. Please remember that if the raid wipes because of over aggro, we lose precious time and repair cost for the entire raid.

2. Target: make sure u know what the kill order is in the raid. Normally first target is Skull then Cross, etc. So stick with this order and dont be the one attacking cross first. Also its possible that u will over aggro the MT because u are dpsing the wrong target.

3. Position: As a melee dps always try to postion yourself at the back of the target. This way your hit changes will improve and also prevent giving the MT more damage due to parries. This is for Melee only.

4. AoE: Alway try to avoid AoE attacks from mobs. This way u wont give the healers a hard time during the fights and they can save there mana if MT/OT or raid needs extra healing.

5. Buffs: always use buff food and elixers. The extra damage u put out can be the difference between a wipe and a kill.

6. Focus: when raiding try to be focused on the fights. Even if its hard to stay focused all the time. Listen to the raidleaders carefully and follow the tactics as explained. If u dont understand them, say something. When doing a raid we need everybody in the raid to reach our goal, Killing that ugly boss. So give your best effort and concentrate.
