As Turq said on Sunday raid, we really expect peeps to come prepared with flasks, buff food, gemmed & enchanted at best available level, & having done homework on bosses.

There is no excuse to have empty sockets/cheap gems/unenchanted items.

A reminder that you can see professions in roster (click 'show off-line members') , so you can easily see who can make stuff you need.

On the subject of enchants, those which require maelstrom crystals may or may not be provided for ilevel 359 gear -it will depend on enchant/player/item being enchanted.

You will appreciate that with the cost of crystals atm, we have to be sure that the cost to the Guild is worthwhile.

It was great to raid 25 man again, but we do need to give ourselves best chance by making an effort preparing ourselves.

I would like to comment further about this.

Yesterday:
A lot of us may have thought that a 25man wasn't going to happen and weren't prepared.
A lot of us had no clue of current progression and what boss we are going to down (Although it was published), and weren't prepared.
A lot of us aren't willing to admit that they are not ready/knowledgable and thus the RL is expecting the group to act as if they had a clue.

Yesterday:
We saw that when players in our guild bother to sign up, we can actually go for 25man.
We saw what cata raiding is all about: Preperation, teamwork, brain work and focus.

We like to raid because it is fun.
It is not fun to raid when you have no clue what the hell is going on.
It is not fun to cause a wipe... and even worse, not realizing you caused the wipe.

It is fun to know you are ready and face the challange and see how well the guild can execute this and progress.
Indeed cata bosskills are more rewarding this expansion in terms of enjoyment.

So please be there to enjoy and not to panic.
