Healing in Ulduar

Hi fellow priests,

I'm starting this post about healing in Ulduar because I'd be very happy to receive any and all advice from you über healers. I'm thinking right now particularly about the Deconstructor fella who does a lot of group damage. Last night in a 10 man I was the only holy priest in the group and was using my CoH and PoH when it was throwing its tantrum and doing lots of group damage. I always have PoM on someone, usually the mt, and constantly refresh it whenever I can.

Is there anything else I can be doing besides CoH and PoH for massive group damage that you can think of that would be better or good to add in? Can you think of a timing issue? For eg., CoH is instant cast, but has a cooldown, so I can't spam it. PoH is a slow cast. I think peeps died last night on one of our tries coz I didn't quite manage to finish casting PoH in time.

Also, I found the fight (not that we got through it sadly) a big mana drain. If any of you superior god-like priests have any good recommendations for how to handle this, and other boss fights in Ulduar I'd be happy to hear it!

Sorry i can't help much here Veek but just wanted to remind the priests that EC is away until the 1st of May.
Hopefully one of the other Holy priests will be along to help out in the meantime.

Well I'm in Russia atm and can't stay for long, but a tip for Deconstructor - Split the group into 2 areas, grp one on the left, 2 on the right, or whatever.

Stand in the middle of whichever group you are on and just first pop a PoM on yourself then spam PoH on your group(Or on other grp if its more viable, but its harder to target). Have the other healers concentrate on the other group and just drop off an instant flash on someone who is low whenever it procs. (Also If mana isn't a problem on that fight I found I could do around 800dps while keeping the healing on board) Gl with your progression while im away, cya soon.
