Hi there!

I'm the new girl. I just wanted to say hi and ask a few quick questions. So far, I have really only been healing in hc dungeons. I have only put my big toe in Naxx and it was just about bitten off! :( So basically, I'm a noobie when it comes to healing in raids. But I want to do well! So I'm posting here to ask what you would recommend for addons that would help or be useful for healing in raids? I have healbot, but so far it just hasn't seemed to be useful for me. Maybe I'm not using it right? In which case, please tell me how to use it! If you have any other suggestions apart from Healbot, I'd love to know what they are.

Oh, and also, can someone please confirm which general raid addons I should have? I saw on the website that DBM and Omen, and ct-raid assist are required, along with Teamspeak. I got DBM and Omen, but I got confused about ct-raid assist because it looked like it was replaced by something else?

Looking forward to getting to know you priests! And please don't hold back on the constructive criticism. I'd like to develop my char, that's what I'm here for :D

V

Hey Veek, and welcome(again :P).

Well I did find some useful things that might help you with using healbot on your Mac.

For a start I found this... Oh i presume the mouse thing is a trackpad? Anyway...

Quote:
Left click is just a regular click. You can right+click by holding the ctrl Key. If you've got a new Apple mouse you can enable the right click button (yes, it does just look like 1 button, but it's actually 2) by turning it on in the System Preferences. If you've got a newer mac laptop you can enable a 2 finger right click on the trackpad, also in System preferences

Of course if you have an older Mac you can't enable a 2 finger right click and will have to use ctrl, which means that either you cant use Ctrl heals with healbot, Or your regular right clicks will appear as ctrl is being held...

Also I found This driver for Mac, might be very useful.
http://www.ragingmenace.com/software/si ... index.html

It enables you "to turn your standard trackpad into a powerful multi-button scrolling mouse."

However just read the small print and it costs $15... so I'll do some more research, see if its real, if its worth... and ofc if i can get it free ;).

Wow! That is so nice of you to check that out, I really appreciate it. I will give it a go and see if I can get it to work.

I also need to figure the grid thing out because the way it is at the moment its pretty pants tbh! lol Undoubtedly, though, its just that I haven't figured out yet how to configure it properly.

Thanks again for your help!

:D
