I see that EQ have posted some mage macros so i tought i do the same for hunters, anyways here are some macros I use.

For nukeing I use this, Bloodlust Brooch is a trinket so u may not have this one, just put in the name of the one you use, and ofc Bestial Wrath is for BM hunters only.
Quote:
#showtooltip Bestial Wrath
/use Bloodlust Brooch
/cast Rapid Fire
/cast Bestial Wrath

My pet macro, this one calls pet if none is active, revive pet if its dead or calls it back if its attacking someone.
Quote:
/cast [target=pet,dead] Revive Pet; [nopet] Call Pet
/petpassive

another pet macro I use is this, its tells pet to attack and cast hunters mark at the same time
Quote:
/petattack
/cast Hunter's Mark

and for bandaging urself i use this, no need for swapping target to bandage, if u target a friendly player u will bandage him/her.
Quote:
# Heavy Netherweave Bandage
/use [help] Heavy Netherweave Bandage; [target=player] Heavy Netherweave Bandage
/target lastenemy

Got any good one i have missed? pls post em :)

On my hunter i use:

Quote:
#showtooltip Steady Shot
/script UIErrorsFrame:Hide()
/castsequence reset=3 Steady Shot, Auto Shot
/castrandom [exists,target=pettarget] Kill Command
/script UIErrorsFrame:Clear(); UIErrorsFrame:Show()

I don't exactly know what it does but i think it makes an automatic shotrotation with a Kill Command merged inside it.
So what i usually do is just spam this button and loot.
PS: I don't know if this still works, it does for me but I heard from some people Blizz has changed the castsequence reset or something. :?

Nice ones.
Good way to save some space in your action bars too.

Theres ALOT to say about hunter shot rotation, which as far as dps is considered is the single, most important issue. Thats why many times I see similar geared hunters with a world of difference in their dps output.
Personally Ive tried the shot rotation macros for a bit and didnt like them. I like to feel more in control of what Im doing. Dont know why I trust myself :wink: but I went back to the good 'ol manual rotation.
I may be wrong but I just couldnt stand it. It didnt feel right.
My point is tho, as I take advantage of this topic, is to say to all hunters that if there is only one thing you work on in all you life as a pve/raiding hunter, since we are a dps class and our goal is to dish it out, is perfect your rotation. Some may ask "what the hell is my rotation?", well I hope not out hunters...
I wont go into it because there is so much already written on the subject that I feel like anything I would add now, after all the research has been done, would be no help. What I suggest is get on all the hunter forums and read up, and chose whats best for you under your circumstances. Besides the official Blizz forums there are great forums on the Elitist Jerks site (for all classes btw), which I have bookmarked, or Big Red Kitty, and many more. Even if you google "hunter shot rotation" you will get an endless list of sites and information.
