This is my request to the squishy healers getting pwned by the murlocs...

It was asked several times that AFTER the earthquake thing u STOP healing the grp until shead picked up the murlocs. This is so u do not gain aggro from these things before they have had a chance to be annoyed by shead and start hitting him, and he seems to be pretty annoying cause they hit him pretty fast =p

During this max 10 SECONDS of waiting heal only the tanks and single target heals thats generate little threat. By level 70 you shud all kno how healing threat works and CoH generates a LOT. So in summary ..

This does not affect MT healers - they carry on regardless.

1. Earthquake - woah murclocs have been disturbed and incoming!
2. the WHOLE grp will take dmg - dont panic!
3. Now heal only tanks and any single targets who r looking rly rly sick
4. U will see shead surounded by murlocs, he will do that kinda fire aoe thing to annoy the murlocs. Healers assinged to shead will be healing him at this point.
5. NOW u can start ur spam CoH and theres a very good chance u will survive.

Healers .. CHOOSE LIFE!

I think we need to make it a policy that after Earthquake, everyone (save the tanks) must heal themselves.

Health pots are very cheap nowadays! And bandages are cheaper! Plus us Warlocks are giving you all free healing items out throughout the raid!

I also think we need a third tank, as backup for the Murlocs in case the Murloc tank gets watery-tombed.

Well the point is, if we are paying attention and stop ALL heals when earthquake hits, and be where we are supposed to, we should be fine.
So yes, I think all heals should stop, even single target, except for MT heals, which should be done by Paladins anyway and they are a but more rugged with plate.
Also maybe Shead should spam a few quick heals on MT to help get some heal threat in the few seconds before the murlocs come..
A problem with a 2nd tank as backup is that its tough for a backup tank to actually know when a cloth healer has got aggro because we are all standing on the same spot and it is literally a couple seconds from that point to a dead healer, so not sure how that will work, unless backup tank claps as soon as murlocs get there, regardless of aggro, and then just lets Shead pull them off him if needed.

That's not what I meant.

There were several points during the fight last night when Shead couldn't tank the Murlocs because he got watery-tombed. At one point it happened before he could get any agro on the Murlocs, and they just started to cut into the rest of the raid.

He did a good job of trying to cry for a replacement. (Amazing considering he was under water at the time!)
But I'm just saying we should have a replacement tank ready anyway.

The thing is i can gain aggro after about 3 secs, after that i will call for AoE, when i do so its safe to heal.

If i get watery tombed and murlocs are coming, then paladins should us consecrate. its simple enough and it will keep them on u. if u have concentration aura up, u will be un-interruptable as holy so just basically spam heal yourself. until im back, it will be hard for me to gain aggro off you without taunting but just stop consecrating, and i will. it should take 5 secs after that to gain total aggro. Then heal MT after that.

I think i remember we used to have a hunter at the end of the tunnel and md murlocs onto pally tank to help with that part and also 2 tanks wud be good - one on standbye, a warrior can thunder clap and it will over-ride any background healing aggro until shead is back in place from water tomb (or idd another pally tank)
